Meal Preparation

Our Support Workers have completed specific training courses so they can safely and hygienically prepare home-cooked nutritious meals for you.

Did you know that malnutrition in elderly people is a bigger problem than obesity?

Preparing food and eating alone can feel like a difficult or unnecessary chore if you’re living alone, but having someone to cook a delicious, healthy meal and chat with you while you eat can make the world of difference. The wealth of life experience our Support Workers bring makes them excellent cooks, as many Support Workers have raised their own family or have worked in hospitality.

Qualified in Food Hygiene

All our Support Workers who provide meal preparation services have completed a nationally-recognised food hygiene training course so they can be sure to safely provide you with delicious home cooked meals. You can combine this with other services too, like food shopping so your Support Worker can help you shop for the ingredients too.

Can I cook with my Support Worker?

Many of our customers enjoy cooking and you are paying for your Support Worker’s time whether you want them to cook a meal for you or cook together. It is up you what you would like them to cook too.
