Regular and daily visits can include a friendly reminder to take the necessary prescription and over the counter medications.
All Support Workers offering the medication reminder service and have completed a nationally-accredited Administering Medication qualification, and are appropriately insured.
Alongside medication reminders, Support Workers can also assist with prescription pick up, hospital appointments and hospital discharge support as well.
Does this include medication administration?
Our Support Workers are unable to carry out any medicine administration or personal care. It is best to use the Medication Reminder Service alongside other home help services.
